Guard Rail
Guard railing is a road side safety barrier product used by the Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure and can be in the form of Steel Beam Safety Barrier or Wire Rope Rail Barriers.
Mike Mason Fencing has been installing guard rail for various government departments, local governments and small business for over 25 years.
All Mike Mason Fencing teams are suitably qualified and experienced in Traffic Management, Occupational Health Safety and Welfare and Environmental Management as required for such work.
Notable projects completed include but are not limited to:
- Southern Expressway Darlington, Adelaide (breakaway terminals)
- Sturt Highway – Kingston on Murray (causeway and bridge approaches)
- Sturt Highway – Renmark to Paringa (causeway, bridges and approaches)
- Barrier Highway (guardrail and bridge approaches)
- Bookmark Creek, Renmark (guard rail and bridge approaches)
- Wilpena Pound to Blinman Rd Pitchi Richi pass (guard rail box beams across culverts)
- Various ongoing work with DTEI (bridge barriers wire rope g/rail box beams)
Mike Mason Fencing have also been involved with other roadside activities including the installation of roadside furniture; delineator posts and signage as well as roadside vegetation restoration and management projects.
